IT: WINE Still Dangerous to WMF Accomplishment blast3r wrote to mention a ZDNet Blog sign by St. George Ou, stating that DARK RED is still susceptible to the WMF flaw. From the subdivision: "All applications launched inside Dark red, Cedega, or Cross-Over Office are technically still exploitable. Dark red runs on most x86 platforms, including Linux and the various BSDs. The stunning part about physical object this failing in Wine is that they implemented the intact Meta File API without realizing that this could be a warrantee progeny. Exploiting a Windows application running inside Wine-colored depends on that program business the unsafe function with malicious assemblage."
